Hand formed "cups" or flowers of copper. Then enamel is added and fired. The colors for these are a bit of a twist, the inside Chartreuse, the outside Turquoise. Many many firings are needed to produce these colors. I made the cups or flowers out of a thinner gauge copper so they are still lightweight. They are assembled using sterling silver and tiny sea blue Apatite and Peridot. The sterling has been oxidized for a better contrast.  The chain on this necklace has change.  I have actually improved it making it a big heavier but the links are oval-ish instead of more circular.

I made the cups or flowers out of a thinner gauge copper so they are still lightweight. They are assembled using sterling silver which has been oxidized for a better contrast with the white of the enamel.

This color I call Blue Lagoon.  This is a transparent enamel so extra care must be used  to keep the color transparent.  There is Deep Ocean Blue and green with a splash of surf blue as waves are tumbling over the surf.  They are assembled using sterling silver.  The silver is oxidized for a better contrast and to show off the detail.
